Our and Marco Polo's Route

The route that we took is shown in bold. Marco Polo's route is in faint...
The first part of our journey was in 1986 from Venice to Kathmandu, to Tibet.
The second part of our journey in 2007 took us from Beijing to Islamabad joining
up with our previous route.  In 2005 Brian went with a group to Uzbekistan.
